Consilium Training and Support Ltd are pleased to be recruiting more Associate Training Consultants on a self-employed basis.

We are proud that our team of Associate Consultants are experts within their specialised areas and we are looking to expand our team. Due to an increased demand in requests for training surrounding Local Authority Private Sector Housing investigation and enforcement courses we are looking to recruit experts in this field. 

Please note that this is not a full-time role. Our Associate Consultants tend to be employed within other organisations and have significant experience and expertise in their areas. 

We are looking for individuals who can assist us with:

• Delivering training online and / or face-to-face.
• Designing training courses and delegate information packs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Associate Training Consultant to join our committed team of Associates. This is a self-employed role focussing on the design and delivery of training courses related to criminal investigation and enforcement work undertaken by Local Authority Private Sector Housing Teams. The Associate Trainer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of training courses, assisting in the development of training materials, and ensuring that clients are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

We offer complete flexibility so you can take on as much or as little work to suit you. Please note that we cannot commit to providing a minimum or fixed number of hours/days work as it is entirely depended on our clients needs and requirements. 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for individuals who hold significant experience and expertise in any of the following areas of Private Sector Housing:

• Effective licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation.
• Effective investigation and enforcement of unlicensed Houses in Multiple Occupation.
• Investigation and enforcement of minimum housing standards to prevent injury and ill health.
• Investigation and enforcement in relation to private rented accommodation which is not maintained to a sufficient standard to keep tenants safe from hazards.
• Harassment and illegal eviction of tenants. 

We are dedicated to supporting excellence in investigations so our Associate Consultants should have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for their area of work and want to make a difference.

Ideal candidates would have experience of developing or delivering training, but if this is not something you have then please do not be put off applying as we will work to support you with this.
