Course Information:
The Community Protection Notice (CPN) was introduced as part of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. The Act aims to fill gaps left in earlier legislation, strengthen enforcement powers and make the tools available to counter anti-social behaviour simpler for officers to use.
The CPN is used to prevent unreasonable behaviour, by an individual or body, that is having a negative and unacceptable impact on the quality of life of those in the local community.
This half-day CPD accredited training course will provide an understanding of the legislation surrounding Community Protection Notices and how they can be used in practical terms. The course will also look at understanding the evidential requirements and enforcement action that can be taken when a Community Protection Notice is breached.
This course will be delivered by Sarah Bradley who has over 15 years’ experience as a criminal investigator within the police and a local authority. Sarah has a vast amount of experience in conducting criminal investigations and has received multiple commendations from the police for the standard of her investigations and work to tackle organised crime groups.
The course can be delivered both virtually and in person.
