Waste Crime Training for Police Officers and Staff

❓Do you work in the rural crime team or frontline policing?
❓Do you manage or assist officers who deal with rural crime or those who may encounter waste criminals?
❓Is the area that you cover affected by fly tipping and other waste crime and you want to know what you can do to help?
❓Do  you support environmental enforcement officers or licensing officers  involved in investigating waste crime or visiting scrap metal sites?
❓Do you see vehicles carrying waste and wonder what your powers are?
❓Do you attend scrap metal sites as part of joint operations or to conduct enquiries in relation to metal theft?

These courses have been designed especially for police officers and police staff to provide a fuller understanding of what the offences are, what your powers are, what to look out for, and how  you can best work with partner agencies to tackle these issues.

Waste crime is a huge threat and is being taken over by organised crime  groups who are moving into the waste sector. Do you feel you have a good enough understanding currently to tackle these issues? It’s likely these groups will be involved in other organised crime as well.
